PsycInfo is a compact version of PsycINFO, the world's most comprehensive source for bibliographic coverage of psychology and behavioral sciences literature. Produced by The American Psychological Association, the database indexes and abstracts the literature of psychology from 1887 to the present. PsycINFO currently indexes 500 journals in more than 20 languages, Its 1,400,000 records (all with abstracts) include some additional 144,000 records added annually. OVID provides mapping from users' natural language to the PsycINFO thesaurus. PsycInfo provides links from its citations to full-text articles in Journals@Ovid and other journals in the library's list of online titles.
