How can I document a literature search in Ovid and PubMed?

Ovid

  1. Conduct a search
  2. Go to Citation Manager at the bottom of the search results page
  3. Choose citations that are relevant to your search
  4. Mark the box next to Include Search History under citation format before you print/email/save your search results.
  5. Your search history will be included on top of your search results

PubMed

  1. Conduct a search
  2. Click on the History icon to display your search strategy
  3. Print the search history using your browser’s print function
